“Great hotel. My only one complaint is that you are not allowed to wear flip flops into any of the inclusive restaurants. All I packed was flip flops? It’s a beach resort? I can see no bikinis etc., but flips flops seemed a little silly to me. ”

“We love this property, as it’s smaller, yet has all we need and the best beach in Cozumel. This was our 2nd yr at the resort, stayed 12 nts. Our food choices this yr were cut down by 2 restaurants, so food was nothing to write home about, but just fine. Sadly our bldg was a bit in disrepair, outside missing lights and inside a few broken items. Though we are easy and didn’t sweat the small stuff. Drinks are fabulous, spa was amazing!! Snorkeling right off the beach is amazing, staff is……

“Melia is one of the best all inclusives in Cozumel. Medium size, good beach access and well designed. Friendly and efficient staff, comfy rooms. Top flight liquor and bar drinks. The only flaw is that buffet meals are repetitive and ultimately boring. Best is breakfast with lots of fresh fruit, to-order omelettes, baked goods. For dinner, I would recommend making reservations for the 3 specialty restaurants, no extra charge, which are more interesting, or going the short distance by car or……

“We really enjoy staying at El Cid/La Ceiba in Cozumel. Have been staying there since 2001 almost every year. Staff is always friendly and helpful, food is great and the rooms are clean and very comfortable. We have stayed at a few other places throughout the years, but no one else makes us feel like we’re home when we bisit Cozumel. ”
