“The villa is just off the road (highway) connecting west and east side of island. Enough out of town to make you feel like you're in the jungle. The birds and lizards are super cool too see and hear as you eat the breakfast made by the onsite chef and brought to your villa in the morning. The host was really great at getting us everything we needed such as rental car, ebikes, suggestions on the island and activities. The villa itself was so clean and with the a/c was very comfortable. “David was a great host. The private cenote is very nice and relaxing. The jungle cabin is very basic if that is what you are looking for, no option for cooking. We enjoyed being able to unplug for the night and listen to the monkeys and birds from the nearby sanctuary. ”

“It’s a studio room that easily sleeps 4. There’s not much “hangout” space—no patio or balcony, but the location is amazing and the beach proximity was great. Wish the window that looked out in the ocean had been cleaned. It was so dirty we could really see out if it. Basically, this is a no frills place but served us well and the service by the management company was great.”

“Property was beautiful , right on the lake. If the property to the left by Amura could have more respectful visitors for noise I would give it a solid 5* but as mentioned partying till 4 am is not appreciated. Waterports could be improved. Sup paddle was riveted incorrectly (asked for a different paddle and given one without a top - incredibly unsafe) and watched someone essentially sink themselves due to maintenance of sups. Dangerous to those visitors who don’t know to check sup before……

“It is a quaint one room all wood apartment with a loft 2nd bedroom with single bed. The kitchen is very small and now better equipped since we stayed there. One queen bed on main floor with 2 fold up couches that do form beds. We had them bring in more pillows and sheets for our family. “The room was nice and the maid service was amazing. But the last week we were there I stepped on glass in the pool. And it was tons of small shards. Which caused excruciating pain. We removed what we could but I just spent 4 hours having tons of pieces picked from my foot. This ruined the end of our trip and I know this isn’t the condo owners fault, it really sucks I paid to stay extra days and couldn’t even utilize them.
