“The property is an affordable option if you want to visit New River Gorge and not pay hundreds per night at the resort or tent camp in order to do so. For the price you get a clean, air conditioned place to stay with a basic kitchen and great shower, which is perfect for after a day of hiking or other activities. You can't walk to get anywhere and it's a 15-20 minute drive into town, so just plan accordingly. The host is very responsive and helpful. ”

“This quaint little place was all it was advertised! From the welcome video to the rose petal heart on the bed, the place had all the little things that made the stay incredible. Sitting out by the coy pond and watching the doe and her fawn walk over to us was the start of a great evening. Laying back on the bed and watching the satellites fly over was amazing. Hope they have a return guest discount, we would come back!”

“This is a small property but for us was perfect, 3 adults. Extremely clean, well stocked. House was comfortable. Owner was super with communications and found us an excellent fishing guide that I would highly recommend - New River Gorge Outfitters. The home was close to Pipestem State park and an hour or so from main hiking trails near Fayetteville. Staying in Hinton was perfect for us. Not a lot of restaurants so be sure to bring groceries. There is a Kroger not too far away but we didn't go……

“We had a fantastic stay at this quiet and clean cabin! The property is absolutely beautiful, with a spacious backyard and a great grill setup for outdoor meals. We were treated to amazing wildlife views every day, which made the experience even more special. The kids especially loved fishing in the pond! The location is also perfect—peaceful and relaxing, yet just a short drive from New River Gorge National Park. A wonderful place to unwind and explore the area. ”

“Horseshoe Acres was great! There was plenty of room for our family (6 adults & 3 teenagers), and every room was immaculately clean. The long tables inside and on the deck allowed for meals, games, and conversation, and the theatre, popcorn machine, hot tub, and yard, were hits for our group. Although we did not use the fire pit, grill, or sauna, it was nice to have them available. Oak Hill’s proximity to the New River Gorge and Welcome Center, river and bridge, UTV tour, Grandview,……
