“This is such a sweet home in a great neighborhood. We came up for a short fishing trip in the bay and were so happy with the location and the house. The property is close to restaurants, grocery stores, and boat launches. It is an older home, so it does have a few quirks but overall has everything needed for a comfortable stay. I can’t say enough good things about the owner. He is so kind and responsive which made our trip that much more enjoyable. ”

“We celebrated our 25th anniversary precisely as we envisioned: in a serene, private beach community! The Beach House at Smith Beach was the perfect getaway—immaculate, tranquil, and just what we needed. The owners were incredibly accommodating, ensuring our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Additionally, the walk to and from the beach was seamless, around five minutes, making our experience even more delightful!”

“You turn on their driveway and it’s lined with beautiful trees all the way down to the beautiful home! The endless landscaping, flowers, trees, bushes not to mention sitting areas outside everywhere! The inside so spacious perfect for families! Not to worry about bedrooms or baths there is plenty! Outside swings and toys for kids, ping pong table, golf enthusiast can hit the balls right in the yard, foosball, hammock swings, lounges and so many patios and endless grills for bbq gatherings! “This was my family's 4th time staying at the Sand Castle so I don't have much to add since my previous reviews. We did not notice that the listing had changed since we had booked and were sorry to see that the bunkbeds had been removed but we worked things out. Also the beach has changed quite a bit and the sand disappears completely at high tide now. This is obviously not related to VRBO or the homeowner, just something future renters may want to know. We still had a good time, we just had to……

“Exactly what we were looking for! Indoor stove ready to go upon our arrival. Very cold weekend but the stove works really well to keep it warm inside. Gas grill outside. Everything you need to do basic cooking inside. Would absolutely stay again!”

“Where to even begin with Sunset Dunes? My wife and I chose this rental to celebrate our 10 year wedding anniversary and we couldnt be more happy with that choice. “From start to finish, Christie was warm, friendly and welcoming. The hospitality and communication were off the charts. The private beach view is one of the most amazing views we experienced. Very private and a long stretch of beach to walk along. The place was clean and has everything you need from a basics standpoint. The surroundings were awesome. Lots of fields and nature to explore nearby with the golf cart. Highly recommend and will be back.”

“I booked 2 nights with my parents and grandparents at the island girl getaway. It was possibly the best beach experience I’ve had yet. Tangier is an incredible island rich with history and certainly worth a visit. We enjoyed the close proximity to the beach and the caretaker, Andy was very helpful and kind. We happened to come to the island when the tides were unusually high occasionally throughout the day, yet I would note that our house seemed to be the only one which had no water near it……
