“Loved this place. It was just what we needed while visiting WCU for a college tour. We would 100% stay here again. Here are things I wish I knew before I got there. 1. This is a tiny house/cabin. Very tiny. There is only about 10 inches between the bed and the wardrobe for the 2nd person to get around. 2. As far as what comes in the house, they have salt, pepper and oil. They do have coffee, coffee filters, sugar and powdered creamer. That was a nice touch so we don’t need to go out to get it.……

“My family and I were moving my son into his dorms at Western Carolina University. We need somewhere close to stay that was affordable. The property is absolutely amazing! It was very clean and very comfortable. The cutest thing you ever saw! The kids (even with them being teenagers !) enjoyed the river! The owner was very quick to respond to me if I had any questions. I would definitely recommend this to someone else! 10 out of 10!”

“Cabin is contemporary, safe, and has a fantastic view. Internet is minimal but the owner made that clear in the listing. Verizon gets great reception (T-Mobile not so much) there so maybe get a hotspot if necessary (unlimited for $50/mo). The only risk seems to be the road if there is inclement weather. We were able to navigate it fine because we were careful (and it was dry) but there is a trench in the road (diagonally across) that could certainly cause problems. The rest of the road has……

“My husband and I enjoyed our stay here. The house is very accommodating and has a lot to offer. We visited the animals of Buffalo Creek and it was a good time. We went to Berm Park and Maggie Valley, which are less than a 30-minute drive away. I have a few minor complaints: the beds are not comfortable in our opinion, there were cobwebs throughout the house, the grass had not been cut, and the backyard could use a routine spraying of insecticide. I would still highly recommend staying here……
