The breakfast was served between 8:00 and 10:00, waiting with coffee and fresh juice! The water taxi is nearby to take you anywhere on the lake. “The guesthouse was exceptional, with rustic architecture. It is located in a village literally in the middle of nowhere. Lake como is everywhere you look, as it is located up in the hill. The room was spacious, well decorated and silent, the personnel was also helpful and kind. The only thing that visitors have to know, is that the guest house does not provide a parking space. You have to park your car in a public parking on the nearest village and then you have to use the shuttle service of……

“Lovely welcome, the hosts are so friendly and very helpful providing local information to guests. Views from the hotel are great! Breakfast was served fresh in a buffet style. Fresh bread baked each morning was really lovely! Room was clean and comfortable. Quite a walk up the hill to the hotel but the views at the top are worth the climb! ”

Finding accommodation for us in a single room can be a challenge, but Orso Bruno offered a fantastic family room that comfortably fit everyone. The convenient Bus-Boat stop right outside the hotel made exploring Como town and the surrounding lakeside villages a breeze.
