“Bathrooms were tiny, had no mirrors and hot water did not work in one. Remote for one tv did not work. Lighting was poor in kitchen and dining room. Pull on one drawer was broken. Exposed wires in dining room. Cushions did not fit in living room. Needed better instructions for stove.”

“The house is absolutely amazing and the location has stunning views. There were 8 of us and the layout of the house was perfect. We had the space we needed so that we didn't feel crowded and yet a living room to meet in the evenings. Everything was well stocked and Sally added personal touches by doing some shopping for us. Lovely town and the people are so welcoming. I'd stay here again. LOVE this home.”

We enjoyed Egan's (after dinner drinks and music)and McHugh's (great dinner) very close to house (need to drive there) We went for a swim on the way out of town and wished we could have stayed longer. Found a local taxi driver/regional expert Jaredth/Earl. I can't say enough about him. ”

“We showed up early straight from the airport (my mistake reading the check in time), and the property manager was gracious about messaging us when the cleaners were finished and the property was ready for us (still a bit earlier than posted check in). The house was lovely, and the view was as stunning as it looks on the listing. Our only compolaint was that both showers need new temperature valves- it's either tap cold or scalding, in spite of the instructions. Not a deal breaker- we would rent……

“This property has a beautiful view of the country side and has plenty of areas of seating both inside and out. The location is on a secluded road so you need a car and a brave driver. We hooked up with John's taxi and he is a great guy to get you around and back and forth at a reasonable rate so no need to drive if you don't want to!”

“We had only two nights here and could have stayed more. The house was very comfortable, clean, and nicely decorated. There was a lot of space for my family, each of my teen children getting their own room. Then there were very nice common spaces. The kitchen is very updated. The house is very close to downtown Ennis. We walked down there for dinner and walked to the grocery stores as well. The owners were very responsive to our questions and they had a comprehensive folder in the house……

It was very clean and tranquil, exactly what was needed after getting away from a big city. The views of the many islands on the River Shannon were breathtaking. Anne was very friendly, easy to contact and accommodating to our needs. We would highly recommend it for somewhere to stay, especially to anyone wanting a relaxing stay in a picturesque setting”
