“The Glencarrig B&B was the perfect place to stay! Our room was comfortable and we utilized the guest lounge and game room. The entire place was clean and quaint. Mary is a wonderful host with a true gift in hospitality. She cooked a delicious Irish breakfast showcasing her own jams and was quick to answers every question we had while giving us great recommendations for food and things to do. “Due to a family bereavement they were unable to offer breakfast, but we had not booked breakfast anyway. Although we were there in late August the town was incredibly quiet. Most food and drink places were closed for the duration of our 3 night stay, for breakfast or dinner. But McMunns were open on our last night and we got a good dinner there.”

“Such a sweet and cute property! My husband and I spent two nights here and both were lovely. The area is quiet and friendly. There are lots of cute reading nooks and a garden. Definitely check out the sitting room if you’re looking for a spot to take some great photos. We arrived late due to some travel issues, but someone was there to help us with our bags and room even at the late hour. Highly recommend the oatmeal for breakfast, 10/10. The only issues we had were some of the outlets didn’t……
