“The Tides B & B is a wonderful place to stay in Ballybunion. It is clean and quiet and the mattress, pillows, and blanket were perfect. The bathroom had a bathtub and a separate shower, all updated. The continental breakfast the next morning was absolutely amazing with many choices of breads, cereals, juices, coffee, etc. My husband elected to pay a bit more and got a serving of crepes which were delicious! I would recommend The Tides without hesitation.”

Mary is a wonderful host with a true gift in hospitality. She cooked a delicious Irish breakfast showcasing her own jams and was quick to answers every question we had while giving us great recommendations for food and things to do. “It's an old fashioned hotel. If you feel physically limited be sure to tell them in advance; my room required stairs as the lift did not reach that level. The bathroom was fully modern. The breakfast was excellent, with kitchen orders as well as buffet. The staff were friendly, helpful, and accommodating. The bar has live entertainment. The ground are spectacular, with a view of the river and falls.”
