“We enjoyed our stay here. Cottage was clean and well appointed. Loved the front porch. It was busy with lobster processing traffic going by but not so much that it was a problem. Two issues that were not good: no wifi. Zip .Zero. No internet service n this day and age is not acceptable. (which we were supposed to have according to the website.) Phoned the number provided. Zero response. V bad in my opinion. Second the fire dept was prepping to burn an abandoned house next door so there were……

“My husband & I stayed for a week. Owner was available & even turned some lights in for us since we were arriving after dark. The cottage was clean & comfortable. Nice updated bathroom with a very nice walk-in shower. Kitchen fully stocked. There was never anything that we needed that wasn’t there. It’s set on a beautiful & peaceful, oceanfront private drive. The view from the bed was amazing to wake up to. Location was just wanted we were hoping for as far as convenience to all that we wanted……

“This sweet cottage is located about 25 feet from high tide in Tenants Harbor, where you can watch the lobster boats heading out in the morning and coming back in the afternoon. Its location ensures privacy, with no houses on either side, on a quiet road not far from town. Veronika always responded to any questions quickly and was an excellent communicator. We loved our stay here and I can't recommend it highly enough.”

“This is our 5th year staying at the cottage. Our first few visits were shared with a long-time friend but we have visited with our son, daughters and grandchild the last two years. It is just the right size for our family of 6.We love sitting on the porch and watching and listening to the waves as the tides come in and out. The sunrises are amazing and this years display of northern lights was magical. We also enjoy the nearby Farnsworth Museum, Langlaise Art Preserve and Finnish Heritage House.”

“A 180 degree view of the ocean and islands. Most of the time you can only hear the water and the birds. Very good night sky, as there is little light pollution. Well appointed and equipped. Cottage now has a wall-mounted split air conditioner/heat unit that works great to eliminate humidity. ”

“The house was in tune with the photographs. The house was clean but outside was in need of some care. The porch needed another sweep, the garbage from the last people was still there and both bins were full. We arrived on Sunday, but the garbage wasn't emptied until Friday when they mowed the lawn. “The location was great and the house was clean. However, the owner did not provide the wifi password as the description states. The shower is located in the living room, where you eat and there is a tiny bathroom upstairs. The furniture was very uncomfortable and not what we expected. Upon entering the home, the smoke alarm went off and it took forever to find as it was hidden underneath a cabinit. There is no outdoor living space aside from 2 broken adorondack chairs, but no umbrella or shade.……

“Had an amazing stay at this charmer on the coast! Very clean, comfortable, and well cared for. Spent many hours just watching the ducks and birds enjoying the treats that come and go as the tides change. Great jumping off point to enjoy the beautiful coast of Maine! The only drawback is that the road is incredibly close to the house and the traffic noise is impossible to drown out, especially when trying to sleep in the second bedroom. Not ideal, but we would definitely return! ”
