“Great location, no surprises or issues”

“The location is amazing. Tenant’s harbor is my favorite area in mid coast and then this cottage could not be better located. Had kayak delivered by Port Clyde Kayak (great place) and paddled daily right from outside the cottage. Easy walk to General store and Happy Claim (another great place). The cottage is lovely and well stocked kitchen for all cooking equipment ( bring your own coffee though). Bed very comfortable. FYI there are not ceilings in bedroom which I loved looking up at rafters……

“Beautiful Maine home with fantastic views. We enjoyed our stay and spent time kayaking direct from the property, swimming in the nearby quarry and at the beach, and relaxing dinners on the deck. Kitchen is well equipped, beds are comfortable and house was very clean on arrival. Would stay again. ”

“The location of the house is amazing, and the view spectacular. The sound of the waves crashing against the rocks was a soothing sound throughout the day and the walking trails in the woods were an unexpected bonus. The house was the perfect size for our family and we appreciated having three bedrooms with ocean views. The only cons were minor: some more silverware in the kitchen would be appreciated as would more storage to unpack clothes in the bedrooms, and we felt we needed to use spring……

“The house is immaculate, comfortable, and in a gorgeous spot right on a cove. The beds and furniture were very comfortable. We had 3 bald eagle sightings right from the deck. It’s a great spot for dogs-plenty of yard and very private. There is a lovely state park beach walking distance from the house. Highly recommend-We hope to return again! ”

“The check in process up until we arrived at the property was seamless. Luckily we arrived early evening because the deadbolt was locked and it took an hour for the team to arrive and let us in. The house is lovely with enough little spaces to have some quiet time if needed. The kitchen was well stocked with kitchen items (dishes, pots and pans, utensils). The bathroom was clean and there was plenty of clean bright white towels. The downstairs couch was very comfy and the coordinating chair was……

“Very happy with the stay! The guys really enjoyed it. Plenty of room, owner was very nice and we were able to communicate with some questions and we received responses immediately. Definitely hope we can stay here again.”

“Our family group of 7 loved our stay at Berry Cottage. It’s a little bit cozy upstairs - some will have to walk through another bedroom to get to theirs, or to get to a bathroom. But the location is amazing, it’s very quiet, the beds are really comfortable and the cottage is clean, well loved — but not overly precious like some — and nicely equipped. Management folks are very helpful and responsive. The dock and beach are a huge plus for swimming and boating.”

“The view is amazing but I would like some kind of blinds on the windows when the sun came in it got very hot and if there were blinds we could block the sun a bit. But everything was great!”

“A 180 degree view of the ocean and islands. Most of the time you can only hear the water and the birds. Very good night sky, as there is little light pollution. Well appointed and equipped. Cottage now has a wall-mounted split air conditioner/heat unit that works great to eliminate humidity. ”
