“Giggling Creek Cottage is exactly what you see and read. Directions for arrival were on point and the cottage and property is very well lit in this beautiful rural area. Our check in and all communication was seem less with zero issues. This home away from home had everything you needed and could want and made our stay that much better. “The cabin was cozy & the location was great. We loved the view from the living room & deck. The hot tub was a huge plus. The kitchen had most everything we needed & the grill worked well. The screen door needs some work as flies got in very easily. The windows need some work as well because their seals aren't good. A couple of them didn't stay open well & we had to prop them open. “My siblings and I were there from Missouri for my father’s Celebration of Life. The Dan River property was just what the doctor ordered: peaceful and serene. The property is a perfect private hideaway with room to move and think. The home housed myself and my five siblings comfortably…very homey with loads of charm and character. I hope this property is available every time I plan to visit the Ararat area!”
