“Great little gem in the middle of nowhere with great staff, ok wi-fi, terrible hard beds and good breakfast.”

“Great place to stay while visiting Bran and Zarnesti. Staff were incredibly friendly, and took very good care of us. Even played me and my friend off, as we left, with our new favorite Romanian song, “Lady” by Sandy Ciorba… which we had been dancing to out on the balcony :) Food was also excellent, and the lamb stew with polenta was one of the best dishes I had in Romania. Getting in the driveway to park is a bit of a pain, but we did finally make it. Trick was to swing wide and to turn in……

“We had a wonderful time at Rizzo! Service was great and we got the best view of the mountains! It was just lovely waking up in the morning with that wonderful view. The receptionist was absolutely lovely and extremely helpful 👏 Breakfast is served outside on the terrace and you get a superb view whilst savouring your coffee. Located in an area with fantastic views of the mountains, the hotel grounds are picturesque and great for family activities, we've stayed here a couple of times now and have enjoyed the hotel and friendly staff. ”

“On arrival the restaurant was closed and upon asking the receptionist o was told there is no restaurant near by . The room was never cleaned and dirty towel was put back on the rail. Room was noisy at tines with main villa door being shut and people coming in and out also dog being left in next door room. The restaurant staff didn’t speak English. I ordered some food and I was offered microwave chicken and raw fish where I ordered a glass of wine , I was only offered a full bottle. Upon asking……
