“The pictures do not do the property justice. Lots of room in both cabins. With dining and kitchen areas in both, had coffee maker and Keurig's in both buildings as well. And more important than the Lake being close, the ice cream shop is closer!! Also, a nice souvenir shop, restaurant and landmark Donut Shop are within walking distance as well. We look forward to staying here again, but are hoping this review doesn't cause it to be booked when we plan our next trip.”

“We had a great time! The cottage is very cute and has lots of Adirondack details. We enjoyed great fires and were happily surprised by adequate towels and blankets, etc., which made the stay extra comfy and restful. “It was a really cool, unique experience to stay on an island in the middle of the lake. Everything was as described and John (the owner) was extremely accommodating and quick to respond to any and all questions. We ended up renting some ATV's from his rental business at a discount. Strongly recommend adding that to your trip.... ”

“Absolutely everything was perfect. Incredibly beautiful view! The fall colors refelcting in the water are amazing. It was a bit chilly at night, so we used the fireplace every night and cuddled up on the couch in front of it every night as well. I really enjoyed having my morning tea on the back porch, looking over the water. Thank you so very much for the wonderful opportunity to share this beautiful property. ”

“Our stay at the 1910 cottage exceeded our expectations. It was very clean and had all the luxeries of home. Kris was very responsive and such a wonderful host. “We enjoyed the stay, everything we needed was there. The ad for the property said within a 2min walk for the lake and the photos looked as though we would just walk out and the lake would be there however the lake was a short drive maybe 4min. For all those seniors who may have a handicap you can't walk to the lake. The only other finding was alot of dog hair from a long haired dog on the floor and behind the couch, also some candy wrappers behind the couch from prior guests. ”

“The only real things I didn't like about the property was the floors upon check-in were dirty, not dusty. After my 1st shower while my feet were drying they turned black from walking around. Also some dirty dishes and mice poo in the cupboard. Beyond that this place was amazingly quiet and peaceful. Comfy as well. On the clear nights you had full view of the stars. Lots of trails in the area”
