“The only real things I didn't like about the property was the floors upon check-in were dirty, not dusty. After my 1st shower while my feet were drying they turned black from walking around. Also some dirty dishes and mice poo in the cupboard. Beyond that this place was amazingly quiet and peaceful. Comfy as well. On the clear nights you had full view of the stars. Lots of trails in the area”

“My in-laws an my husband were camping in Old Forge for years and this time we got back with our kids to show them Adirondack mountains. Everything was great! The property is big, clean and ready to accept renters. Large fire pit was the place for our evenings with kids and grandparents. The balcony was our place for breakfasts and dinners. Very homie atmosphere. Close proximity to Old Forge. Loved it and will be back for sure!”

“Could have been a 5 star rating but:1. we had to shovel 5 inches of snow from walkway and deck to get in the house2. Very small amount of toilet paper. Had to go to the store the first evening we arrived. 3. The request to leave an empty dishwater, beds stripped, garbage removed AND to take with us, and floors vacuumed and swept was a bit much. The house is very cute, comfortable and in close proximity to everywhere we wanted to go. ”

“A lovely stay in Old Forge. The property was right on the main road and a very short drive to Enchanted Forrest. No issues with the home or instructions, everything was clearly communicated to us. “Our overall stay was good, we had great weather, and the top of the boat house was amazing with the views of the lake. When we first entered the home, it smelled very stale like the windows have not been open in months. We found a candle and opened the windows before the rest of the guests came.
