“We were in town for a wedding and needed a place to fit several family members. This was by far one of the best places I’ve ever stayed at. Plenty big, lots of places to sit comfortably, and extremely clean! We really enjoyed using the kayak and paddle board. We dressed up several times for rehearsal dinner, wedding, and Easter. The property was perfect for photo ops!”

Being able to stay in this home help alleviate some of the stresses they were dealing with after their was damaged. Karen was an excellent host. She communicated quickly and clearly. “My boyfriend and I stayed here for 5 nights, we come to Birmingham every year to see friends. This year we wanted something dog friendly so we didn't have to leave our dog at home. This place was great, super quiet neighborhood and plenty of space. The "den" was especially cozy, and the backyard is very big. The one bad thing was the humidity. I know it's super humid in Alabama, but I've never had it be so humid inside. Even with the AC running the whole stay, I would sweat off my makeup before……

“The property was just as advertised. The host was communicative and responsive. It was great for our two families who were traveling to attend a family wedding nearby. ”

“The house was great size and convenience for our group. Neat,clean, beds comfy. Just a few mentions.We would have appreciated a few more bathroom and kitchen linens. A toaster And shades/curtains not shears.”

“9/10 would definitely recommend. The master bath was my favorite section of the house. The house was so spacious that I just realized that we were missing 2 rooms and a bathroom. I would assume that they're located in the lower half of the home which we never accessed. I would recommend bringing additional toiletries,”

“It seems they are just beginning with this house as it requires work to get to be a really nice VRBO. Neighborhood was quiet, minus the airplanes flying over every 5 minutes. The host was more than accommodating when there were issues. She decorated the house and brought in a live Christmas tree for us to enjoy during our stay, was not expecting that. Not a bad experience, just needs a little TLC.”

“Easy drive to downtown Birmingham. Older neighborhood, mostly quiet. Large, dog friendly, partially fenced yard. The main bathroom is very nice, and the house is roomy, but does have a few minor maintenance issues. Furniture and beds could use upgrading. Kitchen is nice, but only has very basic cookware; no toaster, spatulas, colander, etc. Adequate washer/dryer, linens/ towels. This was a better option than a hotel for our group.”
