Only issue was the inconsistent wifi that never got truly figured out, but the owners did send someone out to try for a fix”

“We didn't actually stay here because the host never responded to more than 2 weeks of communication by my and Vrbo.I reached out to extend the stay a day. No response for 5 straight days of messages. Vrbo emailed and called them multiple times with no response. I followed up with calls, messages, and even finding them on LinkedIn.Still no response, even after the trip date came and went. 0/10, do not recommend as this host is approving trips but is utterly non-responsive. ”

“I have stayed at many VBRO sites and this one was the one I never wanted to leave. Beautifully situated on Lake Lay, the home was inviting and warm, but not pretentious - it felt like HOME. The owners were easy to communicate with, answered all questions in a timely manner and super helpful. The location is perfect - just far away enough to feel like a retreat, but close enough to great food and other fun. Oak Mnt State Park not too far, and highly recommend a trip to that. “Our company placed a family (client) here while their home was being repaired due to an insurance claim. The family was very happy with the home, it's location, and the host. Being able to stay in this home help alleviate some of the stresses they were dealing with after their was damaged. Karen was an excellent host. She communicated quickly and clearly. This made the stay even better. We highly recommend Karen as a host and her beautiful home for your next get away.”

“My boyfriend and I stayed here for 5 nights, we come to Birmingham every year to see friends. This year we wanted something dog friendly so we didn't have to leave our dog at home. This place was great, super quiet neighborhood and plenty of space. The "den" was especially cozy, and the backyard is very big. The one bad thing was the humidity. I know it's super humid in Alabama, but I've never had it be so humid inside. Even with the AC running the whole stay, I would sweat off my makeup before……
