“Worth it! Brilliant location. Feels like being directly out in nature, but all the amenities of home. Timeless memories of sitting on the front deck of our own log cabin in the woods taking in the sights, sounds and scents of the kenai bush. “Our stay was brief and unfortunately the cold/windy/rainy weather meant that the float trip that we came for didn't happen but we could certainly see that Eagle Landing would be both a comfortable and enjoyable location to enjoy the walks and the river activities. River Lodge is beautifully appointed, great to have 2 bathrooms, plenty of hot water for a bath, upscale appliances,beautiful rustic decor, many lovely outdoor sitting areas to enjoy the river and mountain views.”

“Excellent option for anyone needing a home base in Cooper Landing or an early morning start on the river. Two clean bedrooms and 4 beds with full kitchen and grill for a reasonable price. Amazing view of and access to the Kenai River! Only drawbacks are: road noise since you are on the busy Sterling Highway and no table inside to play games or sit everyone around for a meal. Outside picnic table is provided. Also, step up into the bedroom and bath area from the LR/kitchen is a bit hazardous……
