“We did a 6 day stay on Culebra and love the Melones area for the views and calm water. We stayed at Villa 2. The room is very elegant with a clean and comfy feel. The villa came with free wifi, direct TV, and access to Netflix (your account). AC worked fabulously at 72 degrees. The view is breathtaking and the balcony comes with an awning/sun shade that was perfect for noon lunches. Sunsets are perfect (just have Off on hand for the mosquitoes). “The “tiny” house comes with a kitchen and an amazing patio, but it’s the property and location that makes this a 5 star stay. You’re close to El Hippie which was awesome and not that far from the main entrance. If you have questions the hosts can and will answer them. Also, they grow a number of tropical plants and freely let you take them (we got a load of starfruit and a perfect guava-just don’t pick their pineapples!! They are still maturing.) "A few things to think of before booking this hotel: 1. unstable wifi service, upon arrival wifi in the hotel is not working until late night 2. no hot water. it’s a lie that you can get hot water for shower after waiting for 45s. It’s not only our room, our friends didn’t have hot water for showers as well. 3. no hair dryer. 4. very limited table space for putting your stuff onto. This hotel is not recommended at all. "
