“We had an enjoyable stay at the property, there were a few little issues but nothing to put us off coming back. The cold water tap in the bath didn’t work so had to use cold water from the sink to put in a bath, the rubber edging round the oven door had come off and was loose in the oven, some of the equipment /trays for the oven also weren’t the right size to be able to cook on. The property is slightly dated and could do with a little bit of TLC. Overall though and enjoyable stay ”

“Very clean, and well kept static. Good size main bedroom with ensuite bathroom which was nice. The second bedroom is very small with tiny beds so if you have kids that are teens you may find it too cramped, an adult would certainly struggle to sleep on the beds. It was very clean and obviously cared for. Let down in a few areas which if addressed would making it top notch, main thing was the master bedroom mattress, it's obviously a cheap mattress and not very comfortable, the kitchen is……

“We stayed for three nights while doing a cycling event in Inverness – three adults in total. The place was spotless, and the host gave really clear instructions which made everything easy. “We only had an overnight stay, but this was long enough to enjoy our accommodation. The apartment was exceptionally clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. “This was our second time at Balnagowan Cottage. Last trip was Easter 2022. The house is excellent for families with the space inside and the garden. There are a couple of ‘tired bits’ of soft furnishings that could benefit from updating… bedding and duvets as these have been the same for the 2 years, and the majority of the blind cords are knotted and don t work. “Great house for a family gathering at Christmas time - hot tub was fantastic and plenty space for 12 of us plus a little dog. Conservatory could be a little cold for winter but fortunately weather was mild and we were able to use both dining table for Christmas dinner. Location is excellent - shops; loch morlich, ice skating etc. Would highly recommend. The hosts were brilliant and happy to answer any queries.
