“We spent over night. The place is a little shabby but the staff are super friendly and helpful. Food was delicious. We had a room overlooking the street on a Saturday night so were not surprised to hear some revelry but it didn't last long. Overall pleasant enough. ”
“Warm welcome from the host Mark who provided us with all the info we needed for our stay.
Room was very clean, nicely decorated and had all we needed. Our only issue was that the room was small and there was limited space for our suitcases.
Breakfast was spot on! Good quality food served to the table.
Good value for money. ”
“it was brilliant to stay in the wee hut. It was very charming, clean and cozy for myself and my better half. The owners were very helpful and friendly and gave us good local knowledge about good pubs and lovely walks to take. The optional breakfast was fantastic and they were able to accommodate to our dietary needs.”
“I stayed here for a 2 day conference in Boat of Garten and was within a 5 minute walk of the venue. Great comms from the hosts and place was perfectly presented and very comfortable; you might want to place another comment book in there as the existing one is full although it was fun reading through people's thoughts and and suggestions and you have clearly followed up on these.
If i'm back this way, it would be the first place i book. Thanks Again.
Breakfast options were a nice touch, thankyou……
“The hotel is located within some outstanding scenery with Loch Alvie literally on your doorstep. We were all made to feel welcome, including Dizzy the dog , and the chefs produced some delicious food as we sat near a blazing log fire.
Room and bathroom were very clean and well appointed.
The only grumble we would have is that we were charged for our dog's stay on a nightly basis, to cover additional cleaning, as opposed to per visit, you would only clean the room once even after 2 nights stay.”
“Only stayed for three nights, but thought it was a lovely place. The room decor is very modern/contemporary, which is what I like.
Bed and bedding was comfortable, but was only a small double bed, presumably because the room was quite small.
We will stay again , but will book a bigger room next time.”
“Nice, clean guest house. Modern room. Tea and coffee facilities and a useful fridge.
Down side is that there are no staff to talk to and not much room for hanging clothing etc. We stayed 3 nights and had to keep our suit case in the bathroom.
There is a restaurant down stairs that we didn't use as preferred to opt for more reasonably priced breakfasts. ”
“The lady on reception was very friendly and check in was quick. Beds were comfy and not cramped (twin). We didn’t eat in the hotel so can’t comment on that side of things. ”
“This lodge is such a gem and it deserves all the praise. The woman who runs it is absolutely lovely — so kind, helpful, and genuinely friendly. We ended up chatting with her a lot, and she always made time for us, which we really appreciated (especially since we probably talked her ear off, sorry!). She had good tips for our day trip to Skye, places to shop, eat, hike, and which castles were a must see in the area.
The home itself is so cute. I loved the bar and dining room, everything has……
“We only had an overnight stay, but this was long enough to enjoy our accommodation. The apartment was exceptionally clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The holiday village was well maintained, quiet and peaceful. All staff that we interacted with were polite, friendly and very helpful. We would not hesitate to stay again.”
