“We stayed for two nights in one of the garden rooms. It had a decking area onto the grass. We ate in the restaurant on both nights and had breakfast there too. The room was good, and mostly clean. Putting our case in the shelving area disturbed a layer of dust that you could write your name in. However, the bathroom and linen was clean. The decor was fine, but a bit worn. “Nice, clean guest house. Modern room. Tea and coffee facilities and a useful fridge. Down side is that there are no staff to talk to and not much room for hanging clothing etc. We stayed 3 nights and had to keep our suit case in the bathroom. There is a restaurant down stairs that we didn't use as preferred to opt for more reasonably priced breakfasts. ”

“Had a lovely two night stay. The corner bath was a deciding factor when deciding where to stay. We found the place to be clean and although we didn’t see staff we also didn’t have a need to see them. The key lock was easy to use to collect the key and return it. They were aware of my wife’s dietary needs as we had enquired about places to eat. When we arrived along with the usual tea/coffee biscuit were some harribo which felt like they cared enough to look into alternatives for gluten free.……

“it was brilliant to stay in the wee hut. It was very charming, clean and cozy for myself and my better half. The owners were very helpful and friendly and gave us good local knowledge about good pubs and lovely walks to take. The optional breakfast was fantastic and they were able to accommodate to our dietary needs.”

“We spent over night. The place is a little shabby but the staff are super friendly and helpful. Food was delicious. We had a room overlooking the street on a Saturday night so were not surprised to hear some revelry but it didn't last long. Overall pleasant enough. ”

“Only stayed for three nights, but thought it was a lovely place. The room decor is very modern/contemporary, which is what I like. Bed and bedding was comfortable, but was only a small double bed, presumably because the room was quite small. We will stay again , but will book a bigger room next time.”

“Warm welcome from the host Mark who provided us with all the info we needed for our stay. Room was very clean, nicely decorated and had all we needed. Our only issue was that the room was small and there was limited space for our suitcases. Breakfast was spot on! Good quality food served to the table. Good value for money. ”
