“ This was not just a castle BnB, this was a real authentic experience back in time. We were warmly welcomed by the Baroness Nicola and her husband and were instantly brought back in time. The Castle was beautifully decorated. We had a very large room with a 4 poster bed and a large bathroom. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. We chosen to have dinner at the castle and would recommend that anyone staying here should do the same. We had a delicious meal served by our host, who was dressed……

“We absolutely loved our stay at Bankhouse. Room was clean, comfortable, and nicely finished. Breakfast exceeded expectations with fresh eggs, freshly squeezed orange juice, good coffee, etc. Located in charming town. ”

Did not eat at the hotel as we had been referred to a "locals" restaurant. To be honest, the "cozy" double room was a bit small. Felt a bit claustrophobic. But it was a nice space. Bed was relatively comfortable. Parking was on the street and not too far from the hotel. You had to look for it. We found a spot about 25 yards down the road. There is also parking……

The owners were very helpful and friendly and gave us good local knowledge about good pubs and lovely walks to take. The optional breakfast was fantastic and they were able to accommodate to our dietary needs.”
