“The view from our room was pleasant. The lift only went up to the second floor so we had to carry heavy suitcase up another flight of stairs to the 3rd floor. ”

“Had a lovely two night stay. The corner bath was a deciding factor when deciding where to stay. We found the place to be clean and although we didn’t see staff we also didn’t have a need to see them. The key lock was easy to use to collect the key and return it. They were aware of my wife’s dietary needs as we had enquired about places to eat. When we arrived along with the usual tea/coffee biscuit were some harribo which felt like they cared enough to look into alternatives for gluten free.……

“Great place to stay if you love the outdoors”

“The hotel is located within some outstanding scenery with Loch Alvie literally on your doorstep. We were all made to feel welcome, including Dizzy the dog , and the chefs produced some delicious food as we sat near a blazing log fire. Room and bathroom were very clean and well appointed. The only grumble we would have is that we were charged for our dog's stay on a nightly basis, to cover additional cleaning, as opposed to per visit, you would only clean the room once even after 2 nights stay.”

“Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The room was spotless but warm. We didn’t put the fan on because of the noise. The bed was a double instead of our usual king size. Our fault. All in all it’s an impressive setup ”

“Nice, clean guest house. Modern room. Tea and coffee facilities and a useful fridge. Down side is that there are no staff to talk to and not much room for hanging clothing etc. We stayed 3 nights and had to keep our suit case in the bathroom. There is a restaurant down stairs that we didn't use as preferred to opt for more reasonably priced breakfasts. ”

Bed and bedding was comfortable, but was only a small double bed, presumably because the room was quite small. We will stay again , but will book a bigger room next time.”

The owners were very helpful and friendly and gave us good local knowledge about good pubs and lovely walks to take. The optional breakfast was fantastic and they were able to accommodate to our dietary needs.”
