“Friendly and welcoming staff. Unexpected room upgrade upon arrival which was wonderful. If you want charm in a beautiful Highlands locale along the whisky trail, this is it. Dinner was incredibly delicious in the hotel's dining room. Their chef is out of this world. Bar has every whisky known to man ... kidding of course, but they are well stocked and knowledgeable. We stayed one night and wished we had booked a longer visit. It was meant to be a stop on our way out of a two day drive through……

“It’s advertised correctly, it’s a bed for the night, clean and a breakfast thrown in. No complaints for price paid.”

“Great place. If you want perfection, go elsewhere. For the price this is amazing, considering the location. Only thing to be wary about is the fridge is shared. Someone took my sandwiches for the next day at one point. Quite inconvenient considering the closest shop is a 10 minute drive”

“Outstanding establishment, great location and supper smart. Hosts excellent and clearly care about their guests experience. “Check in was easy you get a code sent for the front and room door, very well equipped with a small kitchen area with a fridge which when travelling with a dog was really useful for the food. Bed lovely and comfy with a small balcony area to sit out and as the weather was so good was perfect. Ample parking with a very short walk into Aviemore, plenty local shops, cafes and pubs/restaurants to choose from ”
