“The property is amazing and the cottage is fabulous! We were out and about so much, we didn’t really spend a lot of time there. I am a super early riser so I enjoyed the peace and roosters early in the morning. And of course Smudge! He made enough biscuits on me to feed an army!! Thank you for your hospitality.”

“It was a sad trip as we were dropping our daughter off for college. So it was a blessing to have this central location to be easy to check into to, keep clean, and feel safe. We were spooked out at the basement it that’s cause we do not have basements where we live. We let the horror stories about basements get the better of us. But that lasted like 60 minutes. Haha. I would rent this again. ”

“I cannot give this home enough stars...truly excellent. Scott is an attentive gem of a man. He even brought us firewood :) A quiet property with GREAT neighbors; we met them all. One couple came over with a baked banana bread & we sent her home with a flounder dinner ! The house was sparkling clean & welcoming. The mattress & pillows in the bedroom are a dream, as is the L shaped couch with the GIANT television. There are 4 kayaks!!! Be prepared with water shoes that are good on rocks/mud……

“This is our 2nd year in a row to stay at this house, and we absolutely love it. The location is perfect for walking into town or riding bikes. The house is very comfortable, clean, and well stocked. The host is extremely easy to communicate with. Bristol is a great town and staying at this house makes it even better. We hope to be back again next summer!”

“This cottage was an updated, cute New England style cottage. Lovely back deck on the water offered scenic views all day long. Kitchen updated nicely. A smoke alarm went off one night because of battery issues. The washer seal was very mildewy. Trash cans were full upon our arrival so we could barely get our trash into them as requested. The towels were a bit smelly and there were not enough hand towels. Overall we were very pleased! The owners just need to work out a few maintenance or property……

“An amazing weekend celebrating our daughters wedding was enhanced by a stay at this beautiful cottage. Our host Steve was very attentive to every little detail. And a big "Thank You!" for the home made carrot cake! Delicious. The surrounding property allowed for stunning photos of the bride and groom. We are so very appreciative of the space to prepare, as well as the little bit of extra time for check out the last day. Regrouping with family in the morning was more than what we could ever……
