“This was an incredible place to stay! The hosts were the best we have had to interact with. The area was full of things to do. We played golf at the Sebasco Resort twice during our stay. You can’t beat getting lobsters at Watson’s General Store on Cundy’s Harbor. The Friendly Cottage had all we needed to cook and prepare all our culinary needs. We will be back!”

“We have our own vacation rentals so I know the challenges. I would suggest a single serve coffee maker. Easy to care for provides far better coffee and options for coffee flavors in the “pods”. Instant coffee is just not good… Great place. Loved the steamer! Thanks for the snacks!”

“Great, comfortable place to stay. The location is super walkable. There are several bars/restaurants very close, and other areas are close enlighten to walk to as well (I.e. Congress Street). Commercial is a bit of a walk, but if you’re like us and love to walk a new area. It’s not that far. The bed is comfortable and the place was very clean. Communication was great. We would stay here again!”

“I slept like a baby in this quaint apartment. The home was simply, yet comfortably furnished and gave cozy vibes. The property is lined with trees/vegetation providing privacy and the location was central to the area allowing easy navigation to all of Portland. Just 10 minutes from the Jetway and the wharf. “Really thoughtful touches - we played Jenga every night. I had a medical emergency with one of my kids and property manager was available and helpful (thank you!!). Kitchen was well stocked and location is so amazing. It isn’t directly on the lake but walk 300 meters and you are there. We loved hiking Lake Sebago!!!The location is close to restaurants and shops but remote enough you have a “cabin in the woods feel.”10/10 recommend.”

“We loved the lake house. It was so peaceful and quiet. The lake was beautiful. We floated in our tubes, sat in our camp chairs that we brought and read our books. My favorite things were hearing and seeing the loons, the pileated woodpeckers at the feeders and the magical pathway walk down to the lake. My son lives about 15 minutes away and it was so nice to be close by to him, Portland and Windham. We enjoyed eating dinner out on the deck as well. ”
