“My family stayed here for a short winter holiday. The house is older, but very well maintained. Kitchen and bathrooms clean and well stocked. The location on the lake is ideal. More than adequate room around the pool table for a fun game. Highly recommend”

“We watched sunsets and paddled kayaks when at the house. Daily we hiked trails at Garden of the Gods, Ferne Cliffe, and Giant City. House was roomy. We were fine with 1 bath because only 3 of us.Host was great.”

“The house was large enough for me and my 2 brothers and some of our kids to stay. The 3 bedrooms on the main level was nice to each have a room for the adult couples. The spiral staircase to the lower level was a little small so you should definitely unload all kitchen items (which is on the lower level around the stairs to the back, the lights and dining table out back were nice. We ate most of our meals outside since it was so nice. the lake was not really inviting and pretty mucked but the……

“We had a great time and the facility was good. We were missing a few common items we would have liked - soap for bathing (not soft soap); grater and carrot peeler in kitchen, no salt/pepper, the eating utensils were plastic; poor knives... that's all; all in all a great stay ”

“Nice little house. It is quietly located in the country just off state route 147. Loved its convenient location and being outside of town. Wonderful front porch/deck. Definitely would stay there again!”

If i had any complaint at all, it would only be the chef knife needs sharpened. Otherwise everything was spectacular, and easy.”
