“Great to experience a night in the rainforest although not for the faint hearted! The sounds at night were a bit scary if you’re not used to it and a large branch or something fell onto our cabin and scared the life out of me! The heavy rain kept me awake most of the night as was very loud! I could not relax for fear of a tree falling but that’s just my anxiety as I’m sure it was quite safe! The showers and toilets were very clean as was the cabin. The pool was lovely to cool off in. The food……

“We had a great stay. George the owner is very proud of his property and showed us all around his gardens. The rooms were spacious, clean and modern. Very convenient to Daintree Discovery Center. All damage from the December 2023 “extreme rain event” have been repaired. Don’t hesitate to book. You can have breakfast and dinner at the hotel cafe. Otherwise, there are very limited restaurant options, and no markets nearby, so stock up before you get on the ferry, either at Mossman or Port Douglas.……

“Loved the location, had 2 walking paths from property right into rainforest. Clean spacious quiet room, the screened in porch was my favourite part. Did not really enjoy the restaurant- food was not that good for the price. Got the steak and it was very grisly. The hotel bar in Daintree village is the place to go eat- they had excellent food! The restaurant was also absolutely covered in spiders because it’s outside so would have liked to see some maintenance done regarding that issue. Just……
