“Very nice location to experience Daintree rainforest and Thornton Beach. Wonderful and friendly hosts. The lodge was excellent for larger mixed group. Cool place overall. Should have booked a few more days!”

“Great place for two families to catch up. Since there four bedrooms, two at each end of the house we had a bit of separation when the kids went to bed. The pool, which came with some toys, and outdoor seating area was a great place to relax. The kitchen was well equipped and had some staple items. There was even a pod coffee machine! A short walk from the property is an IGA , Chemist and bottle shop should you need any supplies. The IGA was great so we could purchase everything we needed. Just……

“The home, the property, and the communication with our host was nothing short of amazing. We were a little worried we’d have to cancel due to weather and flooding but luck was in our favor. The home is gorgeous and such a peaceful little oasis that’s stocked with all the essentials! We’d 10 out of 10 recommend this stay to anybody!”

“We went to Port Douglas to celebrate a special birthday with our 3 adult children, their partners and our grand daughter. The house was perfect, everyone had their own space with large common areas for us to be together. The kitchen had everything we needed. The beach was a short stroll at the end of the road to with beautiful sunrises and walks on the beach. The beach shack was just around the corner for our morning coffees and town a short car ride. A great place to explore the area from.……

“The Bahama House is fabulous and we had one of the best family holidays ever. Loved the layout, plenty of room both inside and out for our four families, including 3 grandchildren. The House is located near four mile beach, a kids playground, small shopping centre and a couple of cafes are within walking distance. Only a short drive to the centre of Port Douglas for dinner and lunch, or if you want, you can walk along 4 Mile beach to PD (lovely in the morning or late afternoon). The kids……
