“When we arrived, we were a bit unsure of our choice. The outside of the building was rustic indeed. However, the inside was furnished beautifully with modern conveniences. The place was originally built in the 1800’s! It fit into the historic town of Ouray perfectly and was within walking distance of two different waterfalls. The community was friendly and safe. It had beautiful scenery and was within driving distance of many natural attractions. ”

“Our family had a wonderful stay at Tom's house. It's a perfect location - a great neighborhood with greenspaces and pathways easily navigable to downtown where we enjoyed walking and biking for meals and entertainment. “We liked that it was remote and perfect for birdwatching. The host checked up on us as we were delayed by road closures and the caretaker generously showed us around the property, pointing out good views and wildlife locations. “Teri and Pat (the hosts) are simply wonderful people. My son and I stayed for 4 nights, and there wasn't a thing I would change about the property. It's very peaceful, and the apartment is beautiful.
