“Our stay at the Wynkoop house was wonderful. We came to Carlton to visit family and the location was great. It was really close to Main Street so we could easily walk to the restaurants and shops, but it also felt private because it was set back off the street. The house itself was a dream; it had the charm of an old home with all the comforts of a new home and it was beautiful- we felt like we were staying in a magazine! “The house (connected to another house) was clean and well-stocked. It was quiet, with an easy walk into town. The location was right across from a winery where we had a wonderful lunch. The management company was professional and was top-notch in communications. One minor suggestion: the mattress for the bed in the primary bedroom was quite soft for our tastes. “Location was convenient for the places I needed to go. The neighborhood seemed quiet. The neighbors in the adjoining duplex/group home were quiet, no problems at all. Parking was off street. I did have some security concerns about the property- window that could not be secured. Host is now aware. Furniture was adequate, not overly comfortable. The host was responsive, arranged to have more toilet paper and paper towels delivered when we got low on supplies. ”

“We had a great stay! The space was very large, clean, and comfortable — perfect for relaxing and enjoying time together. We appreciated the amenities and loved the walkability of the location. One thing to note: one of the bedrooms is in the basement with an external exit (locked) and is separated by two floors from the other three, which may be important depending on your group’s needs.
