“The property was peaceful. Lots of birds flittering about. If you like to fish, especially for bass this is a great place. Every 2 hour trip I took out I caught 10-15 bass. All 3.5+ pounds. The largest was over 5 and I had multiple that size. The location of the fire pit right by the lake was a perfect end to the days. Will definitely be booking again. There are some minor spruce up repairs to be made but communication with the host indicated they plan to do those this year. ”

“If you are looking for a rustic outdoor experience with no hassle or headaches, this is the place! Steven was great to work with. He was prompt at answering questions and resolved any issues quickly. The lake is beautiful and having access to the pontoon for fishing and recreation was great. There is no beach, but we knew that from the description and a small public beach was a short 13 minute drive away. The nearbybtown of Battle Lake was charming and had great restaurants. My husband is not……

“This cabin boasts a large basement that is set up to sleep many. It worked out perfectly for us, and all the cousins enjoyed having the basement to themselves. We loved that they had spices, oils, and other necessities that we could use. So helpful when we forgot oil to make beeakfast and then didn’t have to go out to the store. Owners were very communicative, which was great! We’d definitely recommend it!”

“After renting the same place for many years each summer until it sold, we have had a hard time finding a place we wanted to go back to. This is a home we hope to return to next year. We enjoyed our stay here very much! The kids loved the swimming area and the sandbox. We caught lots of fish off the dock. The manager was wonderful to work with, also. The only negative comment I have is the water in the house had an unpleasant smell. I’m not sure if anything can be done for that or not. It……

The lake is extremely clear and the grounds were perfect for spending time with family. It was a quick 10-minute drive into Battle Lake for restaurants, shops and the grocery store. The hosts checked in during our stay to make sure everything was good as well. I highly recommend this property.”

“Did some fishing on the lake a few times and hit a few Antique stores around the area. Had a great time staying on the lake. Wish we spent a few more days at the rental. Plenty of things to do and visit around Battle Lake included lots of Family in the surrounding area.”
