“My husband and I, my 3 adult siblings and their spouses, and our parents all gathered here for Thanksgiving week. The location was right on Ottertail Lake, with beautiful sunsets that I'm sure are even more lovely when it's not frozen. The home was well-appointed with wood-burning and gas fireplaces, comfortable couches and beds (some very low to the ground), and stylish furnishings. The large upstairs and smaller downstairs kitchens came in handy for making a big meal. And we enjoyed playing……

“This home was such a blessing to us! While visiting Battle Lake for our grandmothers funeral, this home was our family retreat and certainly provided what we needed. We had a great time around the fire pit, we enjoyed the lake, played games in the large backyard and watched a magnificent storm over the lake from the enclosed porch. The 4 bedrooms provided adequate places for rest, the kitchen had everything we needed to host family meals and we even had a visit from the neighborhood dog, Chief!……

Perfect place for us to meet. Only disappointment was boat lifts were already out, but we survived. Tom was very responsive to our emails. Great host. ”
