“My family of 5 and our dog enjoyed our relaxing stay at the Shiff Shack over Easter break. The house was the perfect size for my family, with 2 queen bedrooms on the first floor, and a loft on the second floor with 2 queen beds. We enjoyed the large room with the sectional couch and large TV to watch movies in the evening. I would have loved to use the fire pit out back, but it was too windy during our stay. The neighborhood is very quiet and peaceful. There is so much to do at the Hideout! We……

“Feels like a big tree house. I stayed with my four teen/adult children and it was a comfortable size for us, with two in the first-floor bedroom, two in the loft, and one in the basement bedroom. Cute, clean kitchen, roomy bathroom with a good shower, gorgeous main living space. Nice selection of game options indoors as well as outdoors (we loved the big tree swing and archery, had fun trying the zip line but it needs repair). So many lovely little rooms and spaces to sit and relax both inside……

“My husband and I spent the weekend at the Elwood Escape for our wedding anniversary. We really enjoyed the set up of the home and we spent a lot of time in the back yard by the fire pit. We took advantage of the hikes and were able to bring our small dog with us. We also loved that one of the restaurants/bar was across the street from the home and were able to walk to the location. Over all we enjoyed this nice quiet escape from the city.”
