“We booked this hotel for about $50 less than other hotels with similar review scores in the area. It’s a renovated super8 style hotel- very basic but our room was clean (even the corners of the bathroom), beds were comfortable and owner/operator at the front desk was friendly. The hotel hallways had a damp but not mildewy-smell, but the room was fine. Breakfast area had cereal and waffle machine. Would stay again for an overnight stop on a road trip. ”

“Very unique hotel and was a good stay. Contactless check in was easy, just received a code for the main door and room. Hallways and rooms have tons of original character with exposed beams, floors, ceiling. Right next door to Outstate Brewing was a bonus!”

The lake is beautiful with clear water and great fishing by the reeds. Our host responded quickly to all of the questions we had and was very accommodating to make sure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Would highly recommend this property!”
