“This was our second time staying at the cottage on Montello Lake. The cottage is clean and comfy and the location is perfect! This is one of the best stocked vacation rentals that we have ever been to, and the owner is very responsive. The cottage is close to downtown Montello where you'll find some little shops, restaurants, bars, and grocery store. We always stop to have lunch at Oyster Crackers in Montello when we visit. They have the best homemade soups and sandwiches. We will be back again!……

“This house was great! Very clean and enough room for everyone. Quiet neighborhood and right across the street from a park. About 22 minutes from the Dells which isnt bad. The house is stocked with everything you would need such as kitchen, bathroom and bedroom items. Just bring food and there would be no reason to leave the house! Checking in and out was extremely easy and the property manager is always avaliable if for some reason she is needed. Would definitely stay at this property again next……

“The property and location were great. Fishing from the pier was fun. Also rented a boat from local bait shop and the pier was great to be able to take breaks. Owner was friendly and helpful with suggestions. Highly recommend, and we will be back!!! Thanks Lou!”

“Wanted to spend a relaxing weekend in winter scenery with family and friends. “Under the Oaks” was a perfect choice. Cottage was spacious and charming. Nice lake views, cozy family room with vaulted ceilings was perfect spot for morning coffee. Seamless communication with owner.Definitely recommending that place for anyone ”

“Barbara was great to work with, she answered emails right away. The house was equipped with everything you will need and more. The beds were comfy, plenty of towels for all the 3 bathrooms. Plenty of space for our group of 10. We all loved sitting and relaxing in the sun room and the deck. We did rent a pontoon so it was great that the house came with boat slip. Just a perfect layout and house!”
