“My husband and I absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful mountain resort in New Hampshire. It’s our number one choice for a peaceful escape. The place is incredibly clean, cosy, and well-maintained, which instantly made us feel at home. “The house is as advertised. It was nice to sit in the hot tub at night and listening to the owls. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful.While both TVs seemed to have surround sound systems or speakers, we could not figure out how to engage them (and these kinds of things are not new to us). I would recommend that someone write up some directions and leave in each room - it would have been nice to enjoy those features, especially in the big 'theater room' downstairs. Unfortunately the glass……

“My wife and I have been staying at various cabins in and around NH for a number of years. We like to find places in close proximity to the White Mountains for hiking. Ben’s place is exactly the spot we have been looking for for years. It checked every box, close to the whites, attractions and great places to eat within a short driving distance. The cabin was super clean, private and comfortable. We loved ot and can’t wait to go back. ”

“This comfortable home was great for our getaway. Communication was easy and clear. We were offered early check in and late departure and that was so kind and appreciated. The steps had been salted for our arrival as it had been a little icy and they could be slippery. Thank you for ensuring that was done even tho it was late March. We did not get to bring our dog, but if we'd been able to, she would have been welcome which was so sweet. And there were no odors or sign of other's pets from……

“Check-in was contactless and easy, parking was plentiful on property, and house was clean/well stocked with games and kitchen equipment. Located close to many beautiful hikes and fun towns. Only negatives included the host’s requirement of a refundable security deposit, as well as supplemental insurance through VRBO, and the host’s requirement of laundering all towels prior to departure to avoid an additional 25 charge. Overall nice property and communicative hosts!”

“Beautiful, well-appointed multi-level home. Great views of near and distant mountains. Very comfortable beds. TVs in every room. Large decks on two levels and side decks. We were there to see the ice go out in late mid-April. Plenty of kayaks, paddle boards, games, air hockey, etc. Very quiet and great for star gazing on a clear night. ”

“Stayed for 2 nights for a weekend ski trip. Comfortably slept 6 adults and 2 children. Very rustic but had everything we needed. The biggest issues we had were the heater seemed to shut off on its own a few times due to it needing a new filter. We also noticed the shower seemed to leak all over the bathroom floor which was inconvenient and there was apparent water damage on the wood around the shower which indicated the leak has probably existed for a while. The beds are also not the most……

“The welcome was very warm with lots of helpful information. Some of the staff took time to chat and answer questions about the history of the hotel and were very pleasant. The aircon is primitive but this is a very old building so don’t expect 21st century tech. The included continental breakfast was ok but they did have English tea so that gets an extra star from me. The rooms are quaint but as expected. ”
