“Great location! Close to town with other fun nearby locations to visit. - The town is nice and feels like Mayberry. - There are nice state parks that run along the river all the way to the Virginia border with hikes to the nearby mountains and rivers which my kids (8 and 12) loved doing. - The river also has public access pretty close to town which was clearly a local watering hole which I preferred to an ocean beach. My kids wanted to go to river multiple times on the trip. The house……
