“The surrounding area to the property is gorgeous and has great potential for a nice place to get away; however, the lack of information prior to arriving was a bit of a let down. Firstly, there was no indication before arriving that the place we would be staying at was currently in the process of being remodeled. Loose insulation, cracks in the ceiling, and tiny pieces of stone/tile on the shower floor were just some of the things noticed. Secondly, please do not advertise a space as pet……

“The home is immaculate. The pictures don't even do this place justice. The koi pond and swing is so peaceful. My wife took a 4 hour nap out there. Haha. Have already booked our next stay. Thank you”

“This house has been newly renovated and was very cozy for our family of 5. The location worked very well for all that we wanted to do in Boone and West Jefferson. Found some great spots for food including: Third Day Kitchen (great views and serene) and the Dough Shed (immaculate restaurant that had a fabulous, well stocked buffet even in late afternoon). We were there in a bit of a heat wave and did find the lack of central AC a little hard and the multitude of newly installed light switches……

“We enjoyed our stay at your VRBO! We also had family staying a quarter of a mile away up Paul Goodman Rd at Bella Woods Cabin that can be rented thru Blue Ridge Mountain Rentals. Their house has a huge game room in the walk-out basement, with pool table, foosball, ping pong table, fire place, seated inside bar for serving drinks, hot tub, outdoor fire chimney and patio for roasting marshmallows, beautiful trails on their multi acre site, 4 large bedrooms, and huge 2 story vaulted ceiling in the……

“Fantastic location. Very clean house with comfortable furniture and a nice porch. We had an internet outage and the owner went out of his way to get things up and running for us even when we told him it wasn’t that big of a deal. There is a nice charcoal grill on the back deck also. Highly recommend. ”
