“Beautiful surrounding ”

“We enjoyed our stay at Dave’s place. The property was very clean and the views were amazing! Dave was also very accommodating to adding a couple of nights on to our stay. We highly recommend this property and hope to stay again, the next time we are in the area.”

“We were on a quick trip to take our daughter back to school after winter break. We were only going to take one dog but our dog sitter got sick so we had to bring our other, owner was ver responsive and it was no problem. Home was perfect for pets! If you are looking for fancy this is not for you but it is comfy and cute and pet friendly. Off the beaten path so yes you will need 4 wheel drive in the winter!!! We cleared our own snow off walks and steps, some people would complain but we did not……

“the property is very nice and spacious. but unfortunately far from most attractions. Due to the hurricane damage Blue Ridge was closed off and most driving distances are 40 minutes plus. The other downfall was the trash situation. We were unaware that would have to dispose of the trash away from the house to the nearest landfill. Fortunately you have the option of the cleaning staff taking it for you at a Fee cost. ”

“Overall we (group of 7 adults) had a great weekend stay at Eagle's Rest. The location is good as it's in a nice neighborhood, but you still feel kind of secluded, and it's located nicely between Boone and West Jefferson. The great room and kitchen area is laid out really well for a group since it's nice and open, with plenty of seating. There are plenty of dishes and supplies for cooking, and were enough linens and towels for all. The property is definitely on the dated side (a handful of lights……
