“We only stayed here for 3hrs so not a super good judge of the places, but we came in and had a good front desk experience and a super easy checkout ”

“As a first time bnb guest, I loved it. James and Connie were very welcoming and made for great conversation during breakfast with the other guests. So much history in the house and area. We spent most of our time in Abingdon - antiquing, dining, and the barter theater. Apparently there's much to discover in Damascus for next time though! We valued the private bathroom in the honeymoon suite, but FYI does not have a shower just a tub, but there was a public shower down the hall. Thanks guys……

“It is obvious the innkeeper makes every effort to make the inn a comfortable and as welcoming as possible. The Buffalo Tavern made me feel great about choosing the small inn over an institutional generic national hotel chain.”

“We called to let them know we'd be arriving after 9:00 p.m., which they said was fine, but the kitchen stopped taking orders at 9:00. The front desk offered to take our order and put it in for us. The timing was perfect, and we had hot, fresh food shortly after we arrived. The breakfast buffet was very good, with the blueberry muffins the hit of the party. We had a little dog that they were very kind to.”

“As always, the staff were personable and friendly, went out of their way to make sure we were taken care of. The atmosphere was fun and relaxed, the rooms were clean and perfect. They brought hot coffee to my door in the morning and even served breakfast to us 30 minutes early to accommodate our schedule ”
