“As part of our 10-year wedding anniversary, my wife and I spent a weekend at this beautiful property. Tucked away in the hills of Marion, it felt like our private oasis. We came from a crowded suburb in NC and quiet of the night and stillness if the starts were mesmerizing. Close enough though to Marion, Abingdon and Damascus we made daily trips to the parks to log miles on the trails. The accommodations were perfect! A comfortable bed, soft sheets and towels and a huge hot tub to boot! Can't……

“We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cabin was clean and comfortable and conveniently located to Boone. The host was very responsive to our messages and questions. There were 4 people in our party (myself and my 3 adult “children”) and 2 elderly dogs.If you are traveling with dogs who need to be walked frequently, this might not be the right property for you. “We and our chocolate lab stayed three nights. The hosts created such a lovely environment that we had the best time. We commented that this was the best property we have ever stayed in. The house has stunning views, comfortable beds, beautiful finishes, clean and wonderful hot tub, fully stocked kitchen, nice, clean bathrooms and hot showers and even stunning views from the fire pit area. The host had even provided wood and things for the fire! There were extra towels and linens if needed. ……

This location was an excellent base camp- short drive to lots of mountain area fun- The cabin was secluded, very clean and easy to access. Had everything we needed for our stay. “Beautiful landscaped yard with a creek that you can listen to while sitting on the cozy porch. Enjoyed visiting with the chipmunks, birds, hummingbirds and a huge blue heron flew by me on the porch. We felt incredibly relaxed during our visit. Home is cozy, beautifully decorated, clean and everything provided for our stay. Will be back!”
