“Lovely little cabin. Would be nice to have a larger back porch with screen since the creek and a small waterfall is so beautiful to look at and enjoy the sound. Inner tubes were in the basement with the laundry so we enjoyed a float on the creek. ”

“Check-in instructions were easy to follow. Kitchen had everything we needed. Bed linens, towels, body wash, shampoo, conditioner and hand soap were provided. Very clean and nice place. Refreshing cooler air as we are going through a heat wave at home. Enjoyed sitting on the front porch in the rocking chairs listening to the bird's and seeing 8 deer 2 mornings. ”

The road in front of the house had more traffic than we expected but wasn’t bad and we enjoyed being out in the mountains. The second cabin on the property is quite close and was great for us since we brought our parents. Gave us both privacy yet the convenience of being together when we wanted. “As part of our 10-year wedding anniversary, my wife and I spent a weekend at this beautiful property. Tucked away in the hills of Marion, it felt like our private oasis. We came from a crowded suburb in NC and quiet of the night and stillness if the starts were mesmerizing. Close enough though to Marion, Abingdon and Damascus we made daily trips to the parks to log miles on the trails. The accommodations were perfect! “We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cabin was clean and comfortable and conveniently located to Boone. The host was very responsive to our messages and questions. “I stayed for a couple nights for my birthday. Wanted something secluded and small. This was a perfect little cabin that fit the bill. Cool place with a creek right next to it and a little fire pit. Could definitely go back again ”
