“Having read some scary reviews, we were a little worried - but it was not at all Fawlty Towers. The building itself is magnificent - it's definitely the tallest room I've ever slept in. The roses in the walkway - such a scent. The gardens have a well-tended, shabby-chic feel where you can see the grandeur of the original planting being colonised by nature. The menu is expensive but if you are at all foody, go for it. It was delicious. If you are more budget-orientated there's a bistro just……

“Les notes sont élevés car le rapport qualité / prix est excellent. Le prix de la chambre est compétitif par rapport aux autres hôtels. Le sauna est opérationnel. La chambre est propre et spacieuse. Un chauffage d'appoint de type électrique est dans la chambre, ceci est appréciable car les plafonds sont hauts et il ferait froid sans ces radiateurs. Le château au milieu des bois est idéal pour le calme . . . ;Le petit déjeuner gratuit est un plus non négligeable car ailleurs ce dernier est proposé……

“Un havre de paix intimiste empreint d’un confort historique. Un charme d’un temps « d’époque » dans un état de parfait entretien où se mêlent des meubles anciens, dorures et tableaux sur fond de légère musique classique. Le tout dans un parc boisé, avec étang et canards, piscine et pelouses rases. Voilà un très bel hôtel pour qui serait en quête de calme et repos. ”

In addition you will be hosted by Christian, very kind and gently owner that will tell nice histories about the castle. Even arriving so late, they prepare us a delicious dining with a local AOC wine. ”
