“We loved our stay at the Fort Conde Inn. The staff was so helpful and kind, the property was beautiful and the room was perfect for our stay. Please keep in mind that 1) this is a historic home, it is not new, but it's still beautiful and personally i love the architecture of times past far more than the modern we have now. 2) It is in Downtown Mobile. “Beautiful property, very elegant,nice art throughout including the corridors on the room levels. Beds very comfortable, rooms well decorated, clean, great aroma in the room. Delightful front desk clerk name Englund checked me in . I liked that they had liquid creamer in teh rooms for coffee instead of that awful powdered mess. The coffee service in the room was very nice with delicious coffee and bottled water was provided to brew coffee. I would stay here again. My only negative was $50……

“We had a great time in Mobile for some Mardi Gras parades. We enjoyed Joe Cains for drinks and food was good too. Hotel was nice. Our only complaint was housekeeping letting doors slam in the mornings. Woke us up around 8 both mornings. I had to go see what all the door slamming was and it was housekeeping coming in and out of their storage areas. Several people and asked them to please not let doors slam. We had kids sleeping. Happened again next morning. Other than that we had no issues. ”
