“The Cloran Mansion was the perfect stay for our little babymoon getaway. We stayed in Anne’s room which was just enough space for us two. The room came stocked with water and there’s a community area with a Brita, microwave, ice and coffee machines. The most impressive part of all were the two breakfasts we had. Paul and his team went above and beyond and everything was so delicious! Definitely would stay here again and looking forward to it! ”

“We stayed for two nights in March. Close to New Glarus and other attractions but felt like we were in the country, very quiet. The place is very clean and has been recently renovated. We would stay there again. We hit many attractions, but driftless museum in Mt. Horeb with the outdoor photographs by Vicki France and the Hawks Mill Winery were two highlights from our trip.”

“As I had found that this property was once owned by my 3X great granduncles I was fascinated by the history and walked in their footsteps. As I descended the original, narrow stairs with the low hand rails I imagined the original women in their high button shoes and hoop skirts more gracefully than me maneuvering them daily. “Chris and Resa run a wonderful B&B! The house itself is beautiful, and if you like seeing original architectural details of historic buildings, this is the place for you. Breakfast was delicious, and it was hard to pick what our favorite meal was. After a day of shopping on Main Street, it was nice to come back to the house for a charcuterie plate and cookies (both different every day!) and wine. My favorite touch was a homemade brownie waiting for us when we checked into our room - delicious!”

“This property had everything listed and then some! Even without leaves on the trees, the views were beautiful. The scenic drive was gorgeous and not far from downtown Galena at all. “A lovely cozy cabin just perfect for relaxing. You can sit in front of the beautiful stone fireplace, hang out on the huge deck, or take a soak in the jetted tub. The kitchen is well stocked with spices, pot and pans, enough cutlery, dishes, mugs and glassware. It was really nice to bring along the pup and have him feel welcomed by the hosts rather than a burden.
