“The Wi-Fi was weak and unreliable. With low cell coverage, that made the trip unpleasant. We could not stream television, use a laptop, use an iPad, or boost our cell coverage. The cottage was clean and the location was perfect for our needs. With better Wi-fi, it would have been 5 star.”

“The home was very clean and offered plenty of space for our group. However, there was a strong smell. Maybe from being shut up for an extended period of time? One of the boys in our group said “it smells like old people in here.” I would have to agree that it was definitely a smell like an older home has sometimes. Not as well stocked as many similar properties we’ve stayed in, but had a few items handy (paper towels, toothpaste, soap). One big one is coffee! There is a pot and filters, but……

“It was a very well decorated cabin. Even had a lighted Christmas tree inside when we walked in. Cleaning needs to be addressed if they want a higher rating. Very dusty everywhere. Bedroom floor had to be swept. Bedroom sheets were brown & hair on them. Had to ask for more wash cloths as we only had 4 for two adults for a 5 might stay. The road at night is dark so be sure to use your speedometer to know where to turn. Other than that accommodations were cozy & co”
