“Ashley was always quick to respond with questions that I had! We had everything we needed and the house was ready for us! The kitchen was an open concept with the living room, which was very nice! The house situated on a dead end and it was very quiet and peaceful! Nice to set on the front porch where you could see the lake and watch the deer! Would definitely recommend this nice home!”

“We wanted a quick get away to celebrate a friend’s birthday. This was the perfect spot! The house was clean and exactly as described. It was very comfortable for two couples. The kitchen was fully equipped, including a good selection of coffee and creamers. The covered front porch was a great place to visit, enjoy our morning coffee or evening drink. It was also a good spot to wait out a morning rain before getting on our motorcycles to explore. The wineries close by stop food service……

“This property was wonderful and a short drive to the SIU campus. The property is in excellent condition, hot tub worked great, and it is in a beautiful neighborhood with a nice community lake. We visited too early in the season to enjoy the community pool, but it looks very nice. We would not hesitate to stay here again.”

“We rented this property for the 2024 Eclipse viewing. That in itself was amazing but the property was the highlight for our whole family. It’s a beautiful setting, the home was upscale and fabulous, and, the stocked pond did not disappoint. The amenities provided were the best with beautifully equipped kitchen, big screen TV’s in every room and beautiful deck overlooking the pond. There is so much added activities for kids with pool table, ping pong, air hockey, foos ball etc.. Owner Patrick and……

“The common area is SO cute and the studio was immaculate, well cared for, and had everything we could need. I would absolutely recommend staying here. The hosts were thoughtful, helpful and easy to reach. We didn’t have any issues, but they checked in to make sure everything was as expected. Don’t miss your chance to stay here. ”

“We didn't realize there would be no shade, so due to weather, wasn't able to be outside much. The kitchen was not as clean as I would have liked. Counter tops and stove had to be wiped before used. Someone's leftover food was left over in dirty microwave. Telescope was not able to be used due to lack of instructions. Overall, loved the cottage, reading the farm history and the homey feel. We were very impressed with the amenities! The property host was very reachable!”
