“This was absolutely one of the best rentals EVER! Michael is a wonderful host! He made every effort to make our stay comfortable! The apartment was the cleanest I’ve stayed in. Every detail was thought out! Location was great! Wonderful to walk to town! Bravo Michael!”

“Loved the house and cute decor. We travelled to attend a wedding at the revelry and this was perfect and close to the venue. Outside of house looks small but really has a lot of space inside with the finished basement area. We had 14 people and it worked well. The only thing I would note is that they did not have top sheets for the beds and we would have been short linens for the extra mattress but luckily we brought our own and extra linens so we were fine. They provided plenty of towels……

“This stylishly decorated lodging provides ample space for the family, with 3 separate bedrooms, several shared spaces, a functional kitchen, and even a couple of outdoor patios. In addition, it's a few minutes away from parks and shops in downtown St. Charles. The host is very responsive, accommodating, and professional.Check-in was a little confusing until we realized the door to the lodging is around back and up a flight of stairs. “Family members traveled from Northern Wisconsin and Western Pennsylvania to join in on the celebration of another family member's 45 years of teaching/retirement observance in nearby Yorkville. Three generations stayed comfortably in the spacious home. (7 adults and 2 children)To our surprise, there was another bed in the basement/recreation room which freed up one of the bedrooms upstairs and allowed an out-of-town friend to spend the night after the celebration.The kitchen was well supplied……

“We were disappointed in this unit. This is a very old building that needs a lot of work. The windows are filthy. The front door mats are bunched up in a pile on the front stoop. The ‘movie themed’ decor was chinsy at best. The parking area is filled with garbage, broken cinder blocks, a tire, and a junked car. There weee old shoes on balcony. The ‘landscaping’ was filled with garbage and debris. The check-in rules and regulations are extensive (requiring expensive insurance or $5,000 cash……
