“We thoroughly enjoyed our week at Deer Meadow! The home had everything a family would need to have an outstanding and memorable time. We also were close to South Dakota special areas including Deadwood, Lead, Spearfish Canyon, Custer Park, Rapid City. We enjoyed it all! We rode horses at Andy's in Lead; We enjoyed wine at Belle Jolie vineyard in Sturgis, Filet mignon at Alpine Inn in Hill City and so much more! We had daily visits from deer - and we had a snow day. “Was a great house, no complaints about the house itself. Was clean and the listing accurately describes the house. We visited during spring break (March) and decided to stay here to visit Mount Rushmore and the location was fine in relation to the national park as well as Custer Park. There was no cell service here for both AT&T and Verizon, but the WiFi provided by the owner was robust.Our only problem happened when we got unforeseen snow came down overnight before we were leaving.
